Join us at our table

Lost in a plethora of creative, digital, social media and marketing meetups in Manchester, there’s less and less time to enjoy meeting people and have fun – which should be what meetups and hangouts (can we use this term now Google+ has?) should be about.

And the audiences have become fragmented – there’s no way you can all attend all the events, so you miss out on meeting specific people unless you’re both at the same event.

So we wanted to do something that is all inclusive (not focused on digitals/creatives/socials/marketers), and fun at the same time. The idea came to us whilst we were sitting in the open space in our studio that doubles up as our table tennis court – an agency table tennis event!

Clients and visitors to the studio have all loved playing a game or two when they come over, and we don’t want to just keep playing each other all the time. So we’re ready to host a few table tennis evenings/tournaments.

It’s a pretty simple idea – folk gathered together to have a laugh. We haven’t really thought about it beyond that. But is there any need to?

How it pans out depends on how many people we get. Singles, doubles…these are all details that can be ironed out on the night. At the heart of it, it’s just an opportunity to get people together who want to have a laugh after work.

The first of what we hope could be a regular evening takes place on July 14^th from 6pm onwards at our studio.
